At 8:48 a.m. companies were dispatched to New Orleans apartments for smoke coming from the apartment. 75-9(Ganley) and 43-9B (J. Hudyma) went on location with smoke showing and 43-9B established command. Shortly after, 43-9B advised fireboard that there was possible entrapment. Engine 75 arrived on scene and assisted the crew from 43 with opening up and searching the the fire apartment. The primary search came up negative but a fire was found in the kitchen. The fire was put under control at the first 10 min mark. Engine 75 remained on scene for about an hour.
